Liebe Leser:innen,<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

\u201eB\u00fccher sind Lebensmittel<\/strong>\u201c \u2013 als der Berliner Prenzlauer Berg in den 90er Jahren noch Schauplatz subkultureller Aufbruchsstimmung war, prangte dieses Zitat an einer Hauswand der heutigen Danziger Stra\u00dfe. Damals galt Berlin als arm und sexy, Letzteres vor allem wegen seiner brodelnden Kulturlandschaft. Auch heute pr\u00e4gen leere Kassen das Stadtprofil, nur der Stellenwert der Kultur ist nicht mehr so eindeutig hoch: Mit einem haushalterischen Topfschnitt werden Kulturprojekte eingestellt, Kulturschaffende verlieren ihre Arbeit, und – der Cut geht diesmal auch an den etablierten H\u00e4usern nicht vorbei \u2013 B\u00fchnen und Ensembles droht die Insolvenz. Ja, und im sozialen Bereich sieht es nicht rosiger aus. Ja, und…<\/p>\n

Schulden sind nie gut und sparen ist nie lustig. Wir werden den kommenden Generationen sicher keine bl\u00fchenden Landschaften vererben \u2013 unsere Probleme werden in jedem Fall weitergereicht, ob als Staatsschulden oder als l\u00f6chrige Infrastruktur. Die Frage ist, was unsere Gesellschaft jetzt braucht, um mit sich selbst handlungsf\u00e4hig zu bleiben. Es macht wenig Sinn, Kultur gegen Bildung, Soziales oder Klimaschutz auszuspielen. Aber an dieser Stelle sei mal eine Antwort durch die OE T\u00fcte gefl\u00fcstert: Kultur frisst alle anderen Dinge zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck<\/strong>. Ohne Kultur k\u00f6nnen wir uns eine andere Zukunft nicht einmal mehr vorstellen.<\/p>\n
